Here you will find an evolving list of researchers around the world who do agent-based modeling or related work. This list is intended as a resource for those interested in discovering people doing interesting research in ABM or related fields in different disciplines. Where ever possible, I try to link a picture of the person, which is directly linked to their website.

Total Researchers Listed on this Page: 6

Jonthan L. Zelner

Jonthan L. Zelner

Jonthan L. Zelner’s research interests are varied, but mostly in social epidemiology, computational and agent-based modeling, computational statistics, and social network analysis.

Moira Zellner

Moira Zellner

Moira Zellner’s current research involves assessing the environmental impacts of urbanization, and exploring how to enhance the sustainability and resilience of urban areas. The focus is on how specific policy and behavioral changes can effectively address complex environmental problems, in which decentralized decisions result in regional land-use and consumption patterns that negatively affect resource availability and quality. Her research also examines the applicability of complexity theory and complexity-based models to policy exploration and social learning.

Tong Zhang

Tong Zhang

Tong Zhang’s research interests focus on agent-based models of markets, industry organization, and futures market.

Xiaoqin Shelley Zhang

Xiaoqin Shelley Zhang

Xiaoqin Shelley Zhang’s research interests include multi-agent systems, sophisticated negotiation and cooperation in multi-agent systems, intelligent agent architecture designing, agent control and reasoning under uncertainty, learning in multi-agent systems, information gathering, e-commerce, distributed systems and artificial intelligence.

Yu Zhang

Yu Zhang

Yu Zhang’s general area of research is Agent-Based Modeling and Simulation. Her research is supported by NSF, ACS (Association of Colleges in South), CUR (Council On Undergraduate Research), Trinity University and other programs. She is on the editorial board and program committee for major journals and conferences in her area, such as Simulation and AAMAS.

Asim Zia

Asim Zia

Asim Zia’s research includes policy analysis of complex systems using agent-based models; adaptive decision making and adaptive management; transportation, air quality and land-use planning; climate change mitigation and adaptation policy evaluation; and international development and environmental sustainability.
