Here you will find an evolving list of researchers around the world who do agent-based modeling or related work. This list is intended as a resource for those interested in discovering people doing interesting research in ABM or related fields in different disciplines. Where ever possible, I try to link a picture of the person, which is directly linked to their website.
Total Researchers Listed on this Page: 9
Yong Yang’s research interests focus on examining how the human’s daily activities are influenced by the built and social environment and the corresponding impacts on humans’ health. Research methodologies include agent-based modeling, microsimulation, GIS, spatial analysis and statistical analysis.
Chia-Hsuan Yeh’s research mainly focuses on the agent-based computational finance. The issues under study consist of the essence of speculation, financial regulations, and behavioral finance.
John Yen’s interests include agent-based modeling in social network analysis, especially on ABM for modeling the evolution of multi-dimensional networks. He and his team have also developed an agent-based model (R-CAST) inspired by naturalistic dicision making for simulting, studying and supporting human decision-making teams augmented by decision aids.
Niko Yiannakoulias’ research Interests include: medical and health geography; spatial analysis of health and crime; agent-based models of human and environment interaction; and geographic health surveillance.
Levent Yilmaz’s research interests include agent-directed simulation: agent simulation, agent-based simulation, agent-supported simulation; advancement of the theory and methodology via novel formalisms, e.g., generative parallax multisimulation, autonomic introspective simulation, and their use as computational tools and models for scientific discovery and theory formation and robust decision support systems; complex adaptive systems: explorations in socio-technical, cognitive, cultural systems—e.g., systems models of collective creativity, dynamics of open science, innovation, and collaborative knowledge creation, simulation of scientific discovery processes, social simulation of projects, organizations, communities, and processes.
