Agent-Based Modeling Course Description. This course (Syllabus) is an introduction to agent-based computer simulation and analysis with emphasis on learning how to model animals, including humans, to achieve insight into social and group behavior. Limited enrollment. Topics in Agent-Based Modeling Course Description. The plan for this seminar is to read papers on applications of agent-based modeling to the behavioral and biological sciences. In particular, we will focus on particular applications and projects emphasizing the methodological, epistemological, ontological, and practical assumptions that are made in agent-based models. |
